FORT LAUDERDALE — The 37th annual Boys & Girls Clubs Yacht Rendezvous will be held Nov. 6-7 at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, bringing yacht owners, donors and those who want to see these yachts together to raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
The two-day event begins Friday, Nov. 6, with the Yacht Hop, an evening of tours aboard participating yachts at Pier Sixty-Six, along with food and entertainment.
The event concludes Saturday, Nov. 7, with the Yacht Rendezvous Gala, featuring live and silent auctions of travel packages, jewelry and other experiences. Singer-songwriter Mike Posner is scheduled to perform.
The event was founded by automotive dealers and civic leaders Rita and Rick Case. Jessica and Mike Busacca and Carla Taylor are serving as event co-chairs.
Chris Gentile, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, said in a press release that proceeds support programs for young people, including safe places, mentoring and workforce programs.
The organization describes the Yacht Rendezvous as its largest annual fundraiser.
The event is scheduled for the newly re-imagined Pier Sixty-Six, a waterfront property on Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway.
