TAMPA, Fla. — Public relations firm 5W has expanded its Tampa headquarters and grown its local team to more than 20 employees as it increases its presence in Florida.
The firm has added space for a two-floor Tampa headquarters and is continuing to hire, according to a company announcement Oct. 1.
5W said the Tampa office will support clients in consumer, corporate, technology, health and wellness, and beauty sectors. The firm also plans to pursue acquisitions of independent communications and marketing companies.
The Tampa expansion follows 5W’s launch of offices in Miami and Tampa. The company said it is expanding its work in AI visibility, media relations and digital marketing as consumers increasingly use artificial intelligence platforms to discover and evaluate companies and brands.
“We didn’t come to Tampa to simply have an office here,” Matthew Caiola, CEO of 5W, said in a press release. “We came here to build something that is representative of where 5W is going.”
Leigh Ann Ambrosi, managing partner and executive vice president of consumer lifestyle, said in the release that the firm expects the way consumers discover and evaluate brands to continue changing.
Founded in 2003, 5W is an independently owned public relations and communications firm based in New York. The company works with consumer and business-to-business clients in areas including corporate communications, public relations, digital marketing, social media and influencer marketing.
