BRADENTON – A nice locals exposed brick and chalkboard kind of restaurant just east of downtown is Central Cafe.
A thankfully small menu enables the kitchen to do some good things with a few entrees in the pricey $25 range but also $13 burgers.
It is located in a historic area along the Manatee River though the restaurant itself is on State Route 64.
On a Friday night it attracts families, dating couples and a few at the bar. Entirely wholesome and without pretension.
