Brooklyn Chop House Miami Marks 1st Anniversary With Tyson, Blige

MIAMI — Brooklyn Chop House Miami marked its first anniversary over Labor Day weekend with a celebration at its Wynwood location attended by entertainers, athletes, business figures and others, according to the restaurant.

Guests included Mary J. Blige, Mike Tyson, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Shyne, Terrence J, Lil Meech, Yandy Smith, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Tamika Mallory and Tracy Mourning.

The celebration also marked the birthday of restaurant owner Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins.

The event featured a presentation involving Sun Goddess Wines, the wine brand founded by Blige, as well as food and entertainment. The restaurant served caviar, lobster and other seafood and featured live entertainment and dancers.

Brooklyn Chop House Miami opened in 2025.
