MIAMI – A key component of the 2011 SoBay Festival of the Arts is the ArtSoBay Exhibit. The two-week series of events begin on Feb. 4, celebrating the literary, performing and visual arts that inspire the culture of South Florida. The festival concludes with a concert featuring Victor Espinola.
One of the more interesting aspects of the festival is the Miami Short Film Festival. The Miami short Film Festival partners with various art organizations and businesses around town to bring the art of short film to the Miami community all year round. Main event is Sunday, Feb. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.
