MIAMI BEACH – Fresh from a multi-million dollar renovation, The Clevelander has revamped rooms and a whopping nine full-service bars.
Starting with the Rum Runner cocktail guests receive while checking in, The Clevelander features diverse dining and entertainment options, as well as the brand new South Tower, which includes an additional six rooms and five ROCKSTAR Suites.

The Clevelander South Beach kicked off its official reopening on April 30th with a full weekend of events and live entertainment including performances by Gym Class Heroes, The Academy Is, DJ KISS, DJ Jazzy Jeff, djMIA, DJ Irie, Sky Nellor, DJ Z-Trip, Star Eyes, Jungle Brothers and Inner Circle.
Dining + Nightlife
The Clevelander now offers five different hot spots with diverse ambiances offering distinctive cocktails and food. The new spaces include the 1020 Music Boxx, the Game On Sports Bar and the outdoor retreats the SPF4 Sun Deck and the C-Level Rooftop Terrace as well as the newly renovated ground floor Pool + Patio Deck equipped with three full-service bars, as well as the outdoor Clevelander Cafe with sidewalk and poolside dining.
Guests can join the party any time of the day on The Clevelander’s notable ground floor Pool + Patio Deck, featuring three full-service bars including the historic Yogurt Bar, Main Bar and Bush Bar. The revamped Clevelander Cafe, featuring a classic American menu by renowned chef Robbin Haas, offers poolside and sidewalk dining amid a casual atmosphere perfect for socializing with friends. The menu will feature American classics including fresh, handmade brick oven pizzas, tuna or beef sliders and mouthwatering shrimp tacos. The cocktail list, created by 20-year Clevelander veteran Mick Burke, will boast classic and unique concoctions including “Mickey’s Rum Runner” and the notorious “120-Ouncer.”
The Clevelander’s Game On Sports Bar will be the sports fanatic’s ultimate destination. Featuring every sport under the sun, Game On is conveniently located on the ground floor of the new South Tower with a wide view of the Pool + Patio Deck’s constant action.
Mixing high energy with an intimate setting, 1020 Music Boxx will be a showcase for the top local and world-renowned DJs. The venue features a state-of-the-art tri-amplified sound system, eco-friendly customized LED lighting system and a 100 square-foot ROCKSTAR DJ Booth along with a full-service bar area and round ottomans in the boldest colors for seating, showcasing a high-energy vibe on an intimate level.
Guests can continue the party from a higher level on The Clevelander’s SPF4 Sun Deck, located on the top floor of the new South Tower. Accessed only by hotel guests, the SPF4 Sun Deck – an elevated extension of the Pool + Patio Deck – boasts great views of the ocean and the Miami Beach skyline.
The chic C-Level Rooftop Terrace – located on the very top of the historic North Tower – features a breath-taking panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and all of South Beach with a more private, exclusive ambiance to whisk guests away from the party downstairs. The relaxing oasis offers full food and beverage service, canopy covered beds, sun chaises and couches to soak up the Miami sun, and oversized umbrellas and palm trees for shade. The C-Level Rooftop also boasts a waterfall with step-in showers and wave bench for cooling down on a hot day.
In total, The Clevelander features 55 rooms categorized by Ocean Front, Pool View, Backstage and Classic rooms, 12 of which can be interconnected to form two-three bedroom suites. Streamline Art Deco design is incorporated throughout the hotel with terrazzo floors and fluted columns as well as the modern curvilinear pool.
ROCKSTAR Suites
With an unforgettable view and unparalleled access to The Clevelander’s entertainment, The Clevelander’s ROCKSTAR Suites are designed to impress every type of traveler with a variety of tastes. The Suites feature king beds, living room area with additional flat screen plasma TV, ocean-front and pool views and direct elevator/stair access to the 1020 Music Boxx, SPF4 Sun Deck and Game On Sports Bar.
