Palm Telegraph began in 2008 as a way of collecting the pictures, places and stories of Florida that didn’t always fit into the typical visitor-bureau promotion.
That idea has grown.
Palm Telegraph is being rebuilt as an independent Florida publication covering news, business and travel across the state. The goal is to document Florida as it actually is: its communities and businesses, its places and people, its changes and its history, and the things worth knowing about the state.
We are interested in the Florida beyond the postcard, but we are interested in the postcard, too.
Palm Telegraph is currently in a test and development phase, with a full launch planned for 2027. The website will be the publication’s central home for original stories, information and an expanding archive of Florida coverage.
