Dinosaur World Expands on I-75

PLANT CITY – On February 29th at 10 a.m. Dinosaur World Official map for Dinosaur World near Orlando in Plant City, Floridawill unveil its 12-acre expansion project. The expansion began in November of 2010 and will be complete in two weeks with their animatronic exhibit being the feature new draw.

Five animatoric dinosaurs are roaring with life in the new 22,000 square foot addition which is home to the Prehistoric Museum. In this scene, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Pterodactyl and of course T-Rex are all “alive” and all waiting to greet visitors.

Dinosaur World has remained open during the expansion project. Two new dinosaur themed playgrounds, a new 5,000 square foot giftshop and a new Fossil Dig are all part of the growth already open to visitors. The Prehistoric Museum and the animatorinic exhibit will not be seen until March 1st.

The expansion brings a totally new feel to the park first seen with the impressive new prehistoric arch entryway. The over 150 life size dinosaurs are still waiting in the lush Florida landscape along the mile walkway, only now they have new prehistoric friends waiting to greet visitors. Twelve new acres offers a lot of room for new dinosaurs.
