Have a Glass at Sarasota’s Wine Bar, Cork, on St. Armand’s Circle

If you are in Sarasota, please do stop in and have dinner at Cork on St. Armand’s Circle. If you are in a rush, or feeling less than flush, stop in for a glass of wine. Not only great vintage wine, but good drinks, yes. This is no place for Parrot-head droppings!

Try the Bottle Shop Brunching, where Cork bartender Josh Kane offers up $4 weekend cocktails with the restaurant’s 10 a.m. to 2 p.m breakfast menu. Drinks include Lido Sunrise and Frozen Breakfast Bellini.

There are deals in the summer. Summer menu specials include $25 entrees like chicken and dumplings; the dish is made from Belle Evans organic chicken and “seltzer” dumplings. There is also Grilled Hangar Steak marinated in olive oil, garlic, chilies and cumin. Dessert? Summer fruit brulee.
