Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) added two new year-round nonstop routes from Flint Bishop International Airport (FNT) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). Due to popular demand, the airline is also adding flights to two existing routes from FNT to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), expanding its network with additional affordable travel options.
Launching in late winter 2027, the new routes will offer convenient nonstop service between these cities while strengthening Allegiant’s presence in popular leisure destinations. The airline is known for connecting small to mid-size cities to larger markets. As more people seek value-driven travel options, Allegiant remains dedicated to making dream vacations possible with budget-friendly fares and excellent customer service.
“We’re pleased to expand service between Michigan and Florida with these new routes, giving travelers even more convenient access to the destinations they want to visit most,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, in a press release. “Combined with added frequencies in several markets, these nonstop, year-round flights provide customers with greater flexibility and value when planning their travel.”
The year-round new routes between Flint Bishop International Airport (FNT) and the following cities include:
- Orlando, Florida via Orlando International Airport (MCO) beginning Feb. 10, 2027
- Fort Myers, Florida via Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) beginning Feb. 11, 2027.
Additional frequency has been added between Flint Bishop International Airport (FNT) and the following cities:
- Sarasota, Florida via Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), with weekly Wednesday, Friday and Monday service beginning Feb. 10, 2027.
- St. Pete-Clearwater, Florida via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), with weekly Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday service beginning Feb. 11, 2027.
