BRADENTON – If you are in downtown Bradenton, there are a number of restaurants and bars on Old Main Street. One of the most useful is the B’Town Coffee Co., where you will find great local coffee, a friendly staff and simply made sandwiches.
A popular item other than a coffee is a pressed Cuban (see sign at right), though they have all the other basics. You can order at counter, or sit down. Service is fast. We like the roast beef.
The name echoes the first name of Bradenton, called Braidentown, as early in the 20th century, the “w” and the “i” disappeared.
One other really nice thing. In the window are a few Bibles; it’s a sign that this is a noble, local spot.
