ATLANTIC BEACH – One Ocean Resort Hotel & Spa has earned One Palm status through the State of Florida’s Green Lodging Program, administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

A One Ocean “Green Team” identified and evaluated numerous opportunities by conducting a thorough walkthrough of the property, as well as conducted an internal audit of product purchases, utility expenses and waste hauling records – all of which helped to determine environmental baselines.
FGLP also requires hotels to maintain certain green practices, which are verified on-site by a program assessor as part of the application process.
