ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — AdventHealth has broken ground on a new medical office building at its Zephyrhills campus as part of its continued expansion in Pasco County. The facility will add approximately 35,000 square feet to support additional primary care and specialty physician offices, including cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, and urology.

The groundbreaking took place August 29 and included AdventHealth leaders, local elected officials, and representatives from the offices of state lawmakers. AdventHealth Zephyrhills has served the region for 40 years.

The project comes as Pasco County anticipates a 40 percent population increase by 2045, with growth concentrated in the central and southern areas of the county.

Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2026. HuntonBrady Architects and Robins & Morton are serving as design and construction partners.

This initiative is part of a broader investment by AdventHealth in the region. In May, AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab Zephyrhills opened to meet local rehabilitation needs. The AdventHealth Meadow Pointe ER also opened earlier this year, adding 12 beds and bringing more than 24 jobs to the area.

Later in 2025, AdventHealth Wesley Chapel will complete its expansion, which includes a new three-story North Wing and a two-story South Courtyard Infill. The expansion will increase the hospital’s licensed beds from 169 to 193, with infrastructure for additional capacity in the future.

AdventHealth Zephyrhills also recently completed renovations to its Electrophysiology Lab to support cardiovascular care.
